We loved watching Robin Sather, of Brickville DesignWorks, Canada’s only LEGO certified professional, build a giant LEGO parrot!  With a little help from some folks from the Victoria LEGO Users Group, and over the course of just six hours, a very colourful, very LARGE parrot took shape.

At the end of the day, when the parrot was complete, it was wheeled down Beacon Ave. (apparently there really IS a first time for everything!) and it is now on display at the Sidney Museum until March 31, as part of their ongoing annual LEGO exhibit.

The Sidney Museum is also the place to pick up a LEGO Treasure Map!  Until March 31, explore the shops of Sidney in search of LEGO Treasure.  Return your completed map to the Sidney Museum, for a chance to WIN great LEGO prizes!
